Abstract

At today's diesel engine development of alternative fuels research always aimed at the performance of the diesel engine, so seemingly influence on the performance of the diesel engine. Based on these ideas, research will be conducted to determine the value of torque, motor power, and fuel consumption by using fuel MFO mixed waste product fuels vehicle lubricants with different variables. With a diesel engine on lap 1500 rpm, 2000 rpm and 2250 rpm. Rev the engine measured using infrared light tachometer toward the pulley. The result is the highest torque value for each round using fuel engines Marine Fuel Oil 50% blended fuel vehicle lubricants waste product of 50% with a value of 23.12 Nm torque, while the lowest torque value for each round using marine Fuel Oil 80 % blended fuel vehicle lubricants waste product of 20% with a value of 15.22 Nm torque. While the value of Power and Fuel Consumption value proportional to the torque.

Additional Information: Pada perkembangan motor diesel saat ini penelitian bahan bakar alternatif selalu ditujukan pada performa motor diesel, agar telihat pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja motor diesel itu. Berdasarkan pemikiran tersebut maka akan dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui nilai torsi, daya motor, dan konsumsi bahan bakar dengan menggunakan bahan bakar MFO yang dicampur bahan bakar sisa buangan pelumas kendaraan dengan variabel berbeda. Dengan motor diesel pada putaran 1500 rpm, 2000 rpm, dan 2250 rpm. Putaran mesin diukur dengan menggunakan sinar infra merah tachometer ke arah pulley. Dari hasil penelitian didapat nilai Torsi paling tinggi untuk setiap putaran mesin menggunakan bahan bakar Marine Fuel Oil 50% dicampur bahan bakar sisa buangan pelumas kendaraan 50% dengan nilai Torsi 23,12 Nm, Sedangkan nilai Torsi paling rendah untuk setiap putaran menggunakan marine Fuel Oil 80% dicampur bahan bakar sisa buangan pelumas kendaraan 20% dengan nilai Torsi 15,22 Nm. Sedangkan nilai Daya dan nilai Konsumsi Bahan Bakar berbanding lurus dengan Torsi.
