Abstract
The purpose of writing report is to determine the purpose of applying the method just in time, to determine the procedures for application of the method just in time and to determine the obstacles that occur in the application of the method just in time at the PT. Indonesia Power Unit Suralaya. The method used in this study is descriptive method. The writing is use primary data and secondary data obtained from PT. Indonesia Power Unit Suralaya. Source of data derived from field studies and literature. Data were collected through obsernations, interviews and documentation. The results obtained from the field, purpose of applying the method just in time are to reduce costs and increase profits, procedures just in time method applied to the PT. Indonesia Power UP Suralaya has several stages: the stage of the purchase, demolition preparation stage, demolotion stage and storage phase and obstacles that occur in the application of the method just in time when the condition of the charge of coal in the full bunker unit will lead to additional costs. Indonesia Power Unit Pembangkit Suralaya. Sumber data berasal dari studi lapangan dan studi kepustakaan. Cara pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari lapangan, Tujuan Just In Time yaitu untuk efisiensi biaya dan meningkatkan laba, Prosedur metode just in time diterapkan pada PT. Indonesia Power UP Suralaya memiliki beberapa tahapan yaitu: tahap pembelian, tahap persiapan pembongkaran, tahap pembongkaran dan tahap penyimpanan dan hambatan yang terjadi dalam penerapan metode just in time apabila kondisi muatan batubara di dalam bunker unit penuh akan menimbulkan penambahan biaya.
