Abstract

Cibaliung – Sumur road is a class III Primary Collector National Road. Development progress and economic that cannot be separated from road infrastructure in this area has led to increased transportation of goods and services. Road infrastructure in this area causes an increase in the transportation of goods and services. This has an impact on decreasing the level of road service which is marked by damage to the road pavement layer. Therefore, a study is needed to determine the value of road damage conditions and the form of handling on these roads. The method used in this study is the PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method and the Bina Marga method. This research was conducted along 2000 m by dividing it into several sample units with a size of 50 m x 5.5 m. Data collection was carried out by means of a visual survey, namely by noting the type of damage, the level of damage, and the dimensions of the damage, as well as conducting a survey of the condition of the LHR (Daily Traffic) to determine the value of traffic conditions on these roads. From the results of the study, the types of damage on the Cibaliung-Sumur road section are alligator cracking (76.50%), pathole (12.67%), patching and utility cut patching (7.90%), and slippage cracking (2.92%). The results of the analysis using the PCI method produce a value of 20 where this result shows that this road is included in the very poor road classification. Meanwhile, according to the results of the analysis of the Bina Marga method, the priority order of 12 (priority order > 7) is included in the priority order A where this road needs a routine maintenance program.
