Abstract

SELVIA AGUSTIANI ROSANDHI. 2017. The Effectiveness of Fermented Lamtoro Leaf Powder as Raw Material of Fodder Towards The Absorption Value of Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio). Supervised by: ACHMAD NOERKHAERIN PUTRA and DODI HERMAWAN. Lamtoro leaf powder is one of protein alternatives source of phyto protein, because it is high contain of protein (24-28%). This research was done to evaluate the absorption value of lamtoro leaf powder which was fermented by different worn in common carp (Cyprinus carpio). This research used 4 different treatments and 4 frequent. They are: treatment A (control / without fermentation ), treatment B (R. oligosporus), treatment C (S. cerevisiae) and treatment D (A. niger). The experiment common carp are 4.3 ± 0.2 g / fish, with a stocking density of 1 head / liter by using 40 liters jar with aeration circulation system. The research parameter which were going to be experimented were the absorption value of dry raw material, the absorption value of protein, the absorption value of fat, the absorption value of energy, Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR), and the final average weight. The results of the research showed that the lamtoro leaf powder which was fermented by using Saccharomyces cerevisiae is safe enough for fish with the absorption value of dry raw material as 57.58±3.39%, absorption value of protein as 73.10±5.84%, absorption value of fat as 47.37±7.07%, absorption value of energy as 67.76±4.36%, FCR as 1.37±0.07 and the final average weight as 8.68±0.10 g.
