Abstract

DESMITA AYU FITRIANA (2225160088). Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Multipel Representasi Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis Siswa SMP. Skripsi Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika. Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa 2020. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa SMP. Sehingga perlunya model pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut. Salah satu cara yang diyakini berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Multipel Representasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 4 Kota Serang tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model multipel representasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi-ekperimental dengan jenis desain nonequivalent control grup design. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas yakni kelas VIII.D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.H sebagai kelas kontrol masing-masing kelas berjumlah 26 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa instrument tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Hasil yang didapat pada penelitian ini adalah pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol.

This research was motivated by the low mathematical thinking ability of junior high school students. Therefore, it is necessary for a learning model that can support the improvement of these abilities. One of the ways which believed to affect students' mathematical creative thinking ability is by using the Multiple Representation learning models. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Kota Serang in the 2019/2020 academic year with aims to determine the effect of the multiple representation models on the mathematical creative thinking abilities of junior high school students. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design type. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class VIII.D as the experimental class and class VIII.H as the control class, each class totaling 26 students. The instrument used is a mathematical creative thinking ability test instrument. The results obtained in this study are the achievement and improvement of mathematical creative thinking ability in the experimental class is better than the control class.
