Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the effect of the use with flash multimedia and cognitive style on chemistry learning outcome. This research was conducted at SMAN 5 Serang in class XII Science 2014/2015 . This research by using of 2x2 factorial designs. The samples size was 108 students of SMAN 5 Serang who were selected by random sampling. Analysis of data using analysis of variance (ANOVA) two way and Tukey test. The result of the research shows that (1) the chemistry learning outcome of students who were treated with flash multimedia were higher than those who were treated with whiteboard media, (2) the chemistry learning outcome of the field independent students were higher than the field dependent students ,(3) a significant interactional effect between the using multimedia and the cognitive style on the chemistry learning outcome, (4) the chemistry learning outcome of field independent students who were treated with flash media were higher than those who were teated whiteboard media, (5) the chemistry learning outcome of field dependent students, who were treated with flash media were higher than those who were treated with whiteboard media, (6) the chemistry learning outcome of field independent students, who were treated with flash media were higher than those of field dependent students,who were treated with whiteboard media, (6) the chemistry learning outcome of field dependent students, who were treated with flash media were higher than those the field independent student, who were treated with whiteboard media

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran flash dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar kimia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 5 Kota Serang di kelas XII IPA tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan menggunakan desain factorial 2x2. Sampel sebanyak 108 siswa diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis of varians(Anova) dua jalur dan Uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Hasil belajar kimia siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran flash lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang menggunakan media whiteboard; (2) Hasil belajar kimia siswa yang mempunyai gaya belajar field independent lebih tinggi daripada yang mempunyai gaya belajar field dependent; (3) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi penggunaan multimedia dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar kimia;(4) Hasil belajar kimia siswa yang mempunyai gaya belajar field independent yang menggunakan media flash lebih tinggi dibanding yang menggunakan media whiteboard ; (5) Hasil belajar kimia siswa yang mempunyai gaya belajar field dependent yang menggunakan media flash lebih tinggi dibanding yang menggunakan media whiteboard; (6) Hasil belajar kimia siswa yang mempunyai gaya belajar field independent yang menggunakan media flash lebih tinggi dibanding siswa dengan gaya belajar field dependent yang menggunakan media whiteboard, dan (7) Hasil belajar kimia siswa yang mempunyai gaya belajar field dependent yang menggunakan media flash lebih tinggi dibanding siswa dengan gaya belajar field independent yang menggunakan media whiteboard.
