Keberadaan iklim komunikasi dalam sebuah organisasi sangatlah penting, karena iklim komunikasi mempengaruhi cara hidup anggotanya, kepada siapa kita bicara, siapa yang kita sukai, bagaimana perasaan kita, bagaimana kegiatan kerja kita, bagaimana perkembangan kita, apa yang ingin kita capai, dan bagaimana cara kita menyesuaikan diri dengan organisasi. Media massa sebagai salah satu lembaga organisasi pun harus memiliki iklim komunikasi. Dengan iklim komunikasi yang baik, karyawan media massa dapat melaksanakan tugasnya secara lebih kreatif dan terbuka. Perubahan iklim komunikasi mungkin nantinya akan mempengaruhi kinerja dan produktivitas pegawai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklim komunikasi Organisasi terhadap kinerja jurnalis TVRI. Penelitian ini bertitik tolak dari teori organisasi yaitu teori hubungan manusia. Teori hubungan manusia ini menekankan pada pentingnya individu dan hubungan social dalam kehidupan organisasi. Pendekatan hubungan kemanusiaan secara sederhana menempatkan karyawan sebagai manusia, tidak sebagai mesin yang dipergunakan dalam berproduksi, memahami kebutuhan-kebutuhan manusia yang ingin dianggap ada dan merasa diperhatikan dengan cara didengarkan dan diperhatikan keluhankeluhannya. Kesemuanya ini dapat meningkatkan semangat kerja karyawan secara pasti dalam bekerja sama untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih baik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei eksplanatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Karena penelitian ini hanya untuk menggambarkan dan menjelaskan pengaruh iklim komunikasi organisasi terhadap kinerja jurnalis. Populasi penelitiannya adalah jurnalis TVRI pusat yang berjumlah 109 orang. Sementara, sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 86 orang dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling yaitu Stratified sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan menyebarkan kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini, iklim komunikasi di TVRI tergolong sangat baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari presentasi sebesar 84, 58%. Sedangkan kinerja jurnalis di TVRI juga tergolong sangat baik dengan presentase sebesar 87,55%. Dari hasil perhitungan, terdapat hubungan yang cukup signifikan antara iklim komunikasi organisasi dan kinerja jurnalis TVRI yaitu sebesar 16,81%. Secara keseluruhan penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa iklim komunikasi organisasi memberi pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja jurnalis TVRI yaitu dengan presentase sebesar 16,80%. Sedang kan sisanya sebesar 83,20% dipengaruhi oleh factor yang lain.

With whom we communicate, who are we interested in, how do we feel, how do we work, what are our progress, what are our goals, and how do we socialize in an organization. Mass media as one of the association organization also have to had a communication climate. By its good communication climate, the employees can work well, they are creative also. The changing of it maybe influenced the capability of the employees. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the communication climate with the capability of TVRI journalist. This research contradicts with organization theory, human relationship. This theory focuses on how important the individual with the social is in the organization. The simple approach explains that the employees as the human, not as the machine who produce. Understand the needs of human who are appreciated, be listened, and taken care of their daily problems. They can improve the employees working in real corporation to reach the best goal. The method is used is explanatory survey with quantity approach. Because this research is only to show and explain the influence of the communication climate on the way of the member's life. The population is TVRI journalist center. They are 109 people. For a while, the example is used is 86 people with used the probability sampling techniques that is stratified sampling. By giving the questionaires, interviewing, and doing the documentary. The result of this research is quite excellent. It can be showed by 84,58% and the capability of the TVRI journalist is also has the same result by sebesar 87,55%. From the counting result, there is a significant relationship between communication climate and the capability of TVRI jurnalist, on the point 16, 81%. These results explain that the communication climate gives the significant influence with the capability of TVRI journalist. It's showed by 16,80% and the rest is 83,20% is influenced by another factor. |
