Skripsi. pengaruh nilai berita pada konten-konten beriita di Line Today Terhadap Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Informasi di Kalangan Remaja. Pembimbing I: Muhammad Jaiz, S.Sos., M.Pd dan Pembimbing II: Dr. Ing. Rangga Galura Gumelar, M.Si Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh nilai berita pada konten-konten beriita di Line Today terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi di kalangan remaja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari desain deskriptif dan kausal. Populasi penelitian adalah remaja siswa-siswi SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang kelas XI. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan jumlah sebanyak 87 responden. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear dengan menggunakan program SPSS Versi 20. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui nilai R Square sebesar 0.077. Hal ini menunjukkan variasi pada variabel pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi dapat dijelaskan sebesar 7,7% oleh variabel nilai berita Line Today sedangkan sisanya sebesar 92,3% dijelaskan oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model penelitian ini. Hasil uji t, diketahui thitung > ttabel (2,862 > 1,662), maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh nilai berita pada konten-konten beriita di Line Today terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi. Kata Kunci : Nilai Berita Line Today, Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Informasi.

Rangga Galura Gumelar, M.Si This study aimed to determine the influence of news value on content given in Line Today towards meeting information needs among teenagers. The research method used is a quantitative method. The design used in this study consisted of descriptive and causal designs. The study population was adolescent students of SMA Negeri 2 Kota Serang Class XI. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a total of 87 respondent. Data analysis using linear regression analysis using the SPSS Version 20. Program. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the R Square value is 0.077. This shows that variations in the variable fulfillment of information needs can be explained by 7.7% by the Line Today news value variable while the remaining 92.3% is explained by other variables not included in this research model. The results of the t test are known to be t count> t table (2,862> 1,662), then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an the influence of news value on content given in Line Today towards meeting information needs among teenagers.
