Abstract
Bayu Triaji Yulianto. NIM. 6662131071. Skripsi. Interpretasi Siswa SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang terhadap Channel Youtube Young Lex Para Siswa khususnya Siswa SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang merupakan salah satu dari banyaknya generasi muda yang menunjukkan interpretasinya terhadap YouTube, terlebih untuk konten musik pada Channel YouTube Young Lex. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan deteksi, tahapan identifikasi, dan tahapan analisis dalam menginterpretasikan Channel YouTube Young Lex oleh SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori Reception Analysis, yang merumuskan tentang pemahaman dan interpretasi khalayak aktif. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode dekriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif mengikuti model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Untuk menguji keabsahan data penulis menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Informan penelitian terdiri dari lima orang yang merupakan Siswa SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang yang juga dalam hal ini berlangganan Channel YouTube Young Lex. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya interpretasi oleh Siswa SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang yang belum begitu tertarik dengan musik di Channel YouTube Young Lex pada tahapan deteksi, dan siswa SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang yang mulai menerima keberadaan Channel YouTube Young Lex bahkan menikmati karya-karya yang ada dalam konten di tahap identifikasi, kemudian akhir dari proses Interpretasi Siswa SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang yang dibuktikan dengan adanya tanggapan positif hasil dari penarikan atas objek yang sudah di identifikasi di tahapan analisis. The interpretation of SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang’s Students toward Young Lex’s YouTube Channel Nowadays, many youths show their interest in digital platforms such as YouTube. For instance, the students from SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang that have interest on YouTube especially toward the music contents on Young Lex‟s YouTube channel. The students not only show their interest but also show their interpretation of the content itself. This study attempts to reveal three stages of the reception by the Students of SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang; detection, identification, and the analysis in the interpretation of Young Lex‟s YouTube channel. The Reception Analysis theory is applied in this study that formulated the understanding and interpretation of the society. The writer applied a descriptive method by using the qualitative approach. The techniques of data collection in this study were interview and documentation. The technique of data analysis was a qualitative data analysis proposed by Miles and Huberman that consist of reduction, presentation, and verification. In order to test the data validation, the writer used the triangulation technique. Moreover, the informants in this study are students of SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang who also subscribe to Young Lex‟s YouTube channel. As the result, in the detection stage, it is found that the students are not interested yet about the music contents in Young Lex‟s YouTube channel. In the identification stage, the students show the acceptance of Young Lex‟s YouTube channel, and they enjoy the contents in it. On the last stage of interpretation, the students of SMA Negeri 6 Tangerang shows the positive reaction toward Young Lex‟s YouTube channel.
